The Slate: Ohio State commits schedule Nov. 7-9
COLUMBUS – High school football playoffs are happening across the country. Several Ohio State commits are preparing to playing in prime-time games this week.
Almost all of the Buckeyes 26 commitments in Ohio State’s 2025 class and their lone commitment in the 2026 class will be in action.

Running back
Four-star Cleveland (Ohio) Villa Angela-St. Joseph running back Bo Jackson travels to Youngstown (Ohio) Ursuline on Friday. Jackson is out for the rest of the season with an injury.
Three-star Philadelphia (Pa.) St. Joseph’s Prep running back Isaiah West travels to Glenside (Pa.) La Salle College on Saturday.
Wide receiver
Four-star Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic wide receiver Quincy Porter is off this week.
Four-star Mission Viejo (Calif.) wide receiver Phillip Bell is off this week.
Four-star Wayne (N.J.) DePaul Catholic wide receiver De’zie Jones is off this week.
Four-star Mansfield (Ohio) Ontario wide receiver Bodpegn Miller hosts Clyde (Ohio) on Friday.
2026 Five-Star Plus+ Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. is off this week. Henry is out for the rest of the season with an injury.
Tight end
Four-star Washington (Okla.) tight end Nate Roberts is off this week.
Four-star Cleveland (Ohio) Gilmour Academy tight end Brody Lennon hosts Cleveland (Ohio) Maple Heights on Friday.
Offensive line
Four-star Toledo (Ohio) Whitmer offensive tackle Carter Lowe hosts Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward on Friday.
Four-star Upper Marlboro (Md.) Riverdale Baptist interior offensive lineman Jayvon McFadden travels to Washington D.C. Friendship Collegiate Academy on Friday.
Defensive line
Four-star Philadelphia (Pa.) Imhotep Institute EDGE Zahir Mathis host Philadelphia (Pa.) Abraham Lincoln on Saturday.
Four-star Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy EDGE London Merritt hosts Oakdale (Ct.) St. Thomas More on Friday.
