COLUMBUS – Ohio State is in Oregon to battle the Ducks in a top three matchup. The Buckeyes of tomorrow are preparing for several big high school football games this weekend as well.

High school football seasons are underway for all 26 commitments in Ohio State’s 2025 class and the Buckeyes lone commitment in the 2026 class.

Quarterback

Five-Star Plus+ Bellefontaine (Ohio) quarterback Tavien St. Clair hosts Urbanna (Ohio) on Friday.

Running back

Four-star Cleveland (Ohio) Villa Angela-St. Joseph running back Bo Jackson travels Youngstown (Ohio) Ursuline on Friday. Jackson is out for the rest of the season with an injury.

Three-star Philadelphia (Pa.) St. Joseph’s Prep running back Isaiah West travels to Springfield (Pa.) Cardinal O’Hara on Friday.

Wide receiver

Four-star Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic wide receiver Quincy Porter hosts Paramus Catholic (N.J.) on Saturday.

Four-star Mission Viejo (Calif.) wide receiver Phillip Bell is off this week.

Four-star Wayne (N.J.) DePaul Catholic wide receiver De’zie Jones is off this week. The Spartans are 6-0 to start the 2024 season.

Three-star Mansfield (Ohio) Ontario wide receiver Bodpegn Miller travels to Marion (Ohio) Harding on Friday. The Warriors are 7-0 on the season.

2026 Five-Star Plus+ Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. travels to Anaheim (Calif.) Servite on Friday. Henry is out for the rest of the season with an injury.

Tight end

Four-star Washington (Okla.) tight end Nate Roberts is off this week.

Four-star Cleveland (Ohio) Gilmour Academy tight end Brody Lennon travels to Lyndhurst (Ohio) Brush on Friday. The Lancers are off to a 7-0 start this season.

Offensive line

Four-star Toledo (Ohio) Whitmer offensive tackle Carter Lowe hosted Sylvania (Ohio) Northview on Friday.

Four-star Upper Marlboro (Md.) Riverdale Baptist interior offensive lineman Jayvon McFadden travels to Cincinnati (Ohio) Elder on Friday.

Three-star Westerville North (Ohio) interior offensive lineman Jake Cook hosts Sunbury (Ohio) Big Walnut on Friday.

Defensive line

Four-star Philadelphia (Pa.) Imhotep Institute EDGE Zahir Mathis is off this week.

Four-star Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy EDGE London Merritt is off this week.

Four-star Troy (Ala.) Enterprise EDGE Zion Grady travels to Opelika (Ala.) on Friday.

Four-star Matthews (N.C.) Weddington defensive lineman Trajen Odom hosted Indian Hill (N.C.) Porter Ridge on Thursday. The Warriors won 49-0.

Cornerback

Five-Star Plus+ Houston (Texas) North Shore cornerback Devin Sanchez hosted Baytown (Texas) Moose Creek Memorial on Thursday. The Mustangs won 70-0.

Five-Star Plus+ Birmingham (Ala.) Parker cornerback Na’eem Offord hosts Adamsville (Ala.) Minor on Friday.

Safety

Four-star Olney (Md.) Our Lady of Good Counsel safety Faheem Delane hosts Washington D.C. St. John’s on Friday.

Three-star Cleveland (Ohio) St. Ignatius safety Cody Haddad hosts Cincinnati (Ohio) Archbishop Moeller on Friday. Haddad is unlikely to play due to injury.
