The Slate: Ohio State commits schedule Oct. 24-26
COLUMBUS – Ohio State is back in action after its second off week of the season. Several future Buckeyes are preparing for big high school football games this weekend as well.
High school football seasons are underway for all 26 commitments in Ohio State’s 2025 class and the Buckeyes lone commitment in the 2026 class.

Quarterback
Five-Star Plus+ Bellefontaine (Ohio) quarterback Tavien St. Clair hosts Springfield (Ohio) Kenton Ridge on Friday.
Running back
Four-star Cleveland (Ohio) Villa Angela-St. Joseph running back Bo Jackson hosts Cleveland (Ohio) Gilmour Academy on Friday. Jackson is out for the rest of the season with an injury.
Three-star Philadelphia (Pa.) St. Joseph’s Prep running back Isaiah West hosts Drexel Hill (Pa.) Monsignor Bonner on Friday.
Wide receiver
Four-star Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic wide receiver Quincy Porter travels to Montvale (N.J.) St. Joseph Regional on Saturday.
Four-star Mission Viejo (Calif.) wide receiver Phillip Bell hosts Huntington Beach (Calif.) Edison on Friday.
Four-star Wayne (N.J.) DePaul Catholic wide receiver De’zie Jones hosts Delbarton (N.J.) on Friday. The Spartans are 7-0 to start the 2024 season.
Four-star Mansfield (Ohio) Ontario wide receiver Bodpegn Miller hosts Marengo (Ohio) Highland on Friday.
2026 Five-Star Plus+ Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. hosts Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco on Friday. Henry is out for the rest of the season with an injury.
Tight end
Four-star Washington (Okla.) tight end Nate Roberts travels to Lexington (Okla.) on Friday. The Warriors are 7-0 to start this season.
Four-star Cleveland (Ohio) Gilmour Academy tight end Brody Lennon travels to Cleveland (Ohio) Villa Angela-St. Joseph on Friday. The Lancers are 9-0 this season.
Offensive line
Four-star Toledo (Ohio) Whitmer offensive tackle Carter Lowe travels to Holland (Ohio) Springfield on Friday.
Four-star Upper Marlboro (Md.) Riverdale Baptist interior offensive lineman Jayvon McFadden travels to Quantico (Va.) Hayfield on Friday.
Three-star Westerville North (Ohio) interior offensive lineman Jake Cook hosts Dublin (Ohio) Scioto on Friday.
Defensive line
Four-star Philadelphia (Pa.) Imhotep Institute EDGE Zahir Mathis is off this week.
Four-star Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy EDGE London Merritt travels to East St. Louis (Ill.) on Friday.
