Tim May Podcast: National title recap, early look at next season, how sports betting impacts Ohio
COLUMBUS — Now that the confetti raining down on Georgia is settled after the national title game Monday, Ohio State is in full offseason mode.
The Buckeyes had a two-score lead entering the fourth quarter of the College Football Playoff semifinal against the No. 1 and undefeated Bulldogs. They had opportunities to take down the defending national champions — and couldn’t finish Georgia off.
But that’s now in the past. That’s why the Tim May Podcast is back to break down every angle of the early stages of the offseason. The legendary Ohio State football reporter is here to talk about what went right and what went wrong as another season comes to an end without a national title. To help him break that down and talk about the national championship game, Bill Bender from The Sporting News joins the show.
Tim welcomes in sports gambling writer Lou Monaco to talk about sports betting and gambling becoming legal in Ohio — which began on Jan. 1.
