Will Howard building confidence after impressive performance, taking it to Oregon matchup

COLUMBUS — Ohio State quarterback Will Howard was having trouble deciding between his favorite of the three touchdown passes he tossed to Emeka Egbuka on Saturday. But he had an interesting reason for why the second of the three, a dart to the left back corner of the end zone that fell perfectly into Egbuka's hands, took the honor: because he missed the throw in practice. Yes, Howard was off the mark on that throw in practice, he admitted Tuesday, but he was right on target in the game. And it's throws like that, ones he's making when the live reps are happening and unfolding in front of him, that are giving him confidence heading into the Buckeyes' top-three matchup against Oregon in Autzen Stadium this weekend.
