Brent Venables hopeful OU offense will improve, as injuries pile up

Brent Venables is well aware of the critics of his football program. Now in his third season as the head coach at Oklahoma, Venables is used to the criticism. His first season was the first losing season since 1998. His second season started with great optimism and showed improvement but fell apart in the back half. And this season, his third in Norman and first in the SEC, is off to a bumpy start as the offense has been abysmal through two games.
