2024 outlook: In short, the time has come for Samuel Omosigho following a spring in which the sophomore linebacker really started to carve out a role for himself. Versatile would be the phrase when talking about the 6-foot-2, 236-pound Crandall High School graduate. It’s expected Omosigho will be in the mix and have an opportunity to be a contributor this season, how much? That will be the big question heading into 2024.
2024 linebacker outlook:
The linebacker is stacked for the Sooners in 2024. Senior Danny Stutsman leads the way for Oklahoma, after he chose to stay one more year. Next to Stutsman are a host of guys, including Kip Lewis, Jaren Kanak and Kobie McKinzie, among others. All are fighting for playing time in 2024, including sophomores Lewis Carter and Samuel Omosigho, who were impressive in the spring and could start for Oklahoma next season.
