Ohio State loss shakes up race
Stutsman has been one of the better linebackers in the country the last two seasons. That shouldn’t change in 2024. But maybe Stutsman will show he is the best, period. First-team All-SEC preseason projection puts a lot of expectations on him. But that’s OK, he’s good enough.
Stutsman will continue to be a leader on and off the field for the Sooners. He’s made dynamic plays like crazy the last two seasons. All you can ask for is more. And you know Stutsman will be up for the challenge.
Stay healthy and watch him put an exclamation point on a terrific OU career.
2024 inside linebacker outlook
The linebacker is stacked for the Sooners in 2024. Senior Danny Stutsman leads the way for Oklahoma, after he chose to stay one more year. Next to Stutsman are a host of guys, including Kip Lewis, Jaren Kanak and Kobie McKinzie, among others. All are fighting for playing time in 2024, including sophomores Lewis Carter and Samuel Omosigho, who were impressive in the spring and could start for Oklahoma next season. Dasan McCullough has also entered the mix, moving to inside linebacker.
