Fay has had quite the college journey. From beginning at Michigan State at quarterback to switching to tight end and transferring to OU. But he’s sticking it out for his second season in Norman.
Fans are expecting some other names to stick out and stand out, but Fay will keep working for any opportunity that might come his way.
2024 tight end outlook
One room that has a totally new look in 2024 is the tight end room. Austin Stogner took nearly every snap last year at tight end. He’s now gone and there are several new faces. Transfers Bauer Sharp and Jake Roberts are expected to lead the way. Sharp was especially impressive in the spring, with Roberts missing all of spring with an injury. OU also brought in highly-touted freshman Davon Mitchell, who by far has the most talent of the group. But don’t forget about Kaden Helms and Kade McIntyre, who both return from injury.
