Wednesday Original Report
There are a lot of question marks for OU as it heads on the road for the first time this season.
The Sooners play at Auburn on Saturday. And they’ll need as many healthy bodies as possible. The first availability report of the week was released Wednesday night. Here is this week’s availability report for OU and Auburn:
- OL Jake Taylor: Probable
- RB Taylor Tatum: Doubtful
- WR Andrel Anthony: Doubtful
- WR Deion Burks: Questionable
- LB Dasan McCullough: Questionable
- DB Kendel Dolby: Out
- OL Geirean Hatchett: Out
- DB Gentry Williams: Out
- WR Jalil Farooq: Out
- WR Jayden Gibson: Out
- K Tyler Keltner: Out
- WR Nic Anderson: Out
Keltner is maybe the biggest surprise of the group. But it does not appear to be a serious injury for Keltner. Senior Zach Schmit will take over kicking duties this week for Keltner.
There are several questions regarding the long-term future of both Anthony and Anderson, two guys many expected to be healthy at this point. Coach Brent Venables declined to comment on their futures on Wednesday at the SEC teleconference.

“Again, I’m just going to stay out of all of that,” Venables said. “We have a protocol now that we go to that gives you an up to date, almost an up to the minute progress report for those guys. Whenever some other decisions or types of decisions are made on someone from a long-term standpoint, I’ll let you know as soon as those type of things are finalized.”
