This time last year, on Nov. 25, 2023, Xavier Robinson rushed for 192 yards and scored three touchdowns on Bishop McGuinness in the 5A semifinals. A week later, he ran for 133 yards and two touchdowns, helping Carl Albert beat Del City and win the program’s 18th state title. Fast forward 365 days and Robinson is fresh off a 107-yard, two-touchdown performance against one of college football's most formidable powers — Alabama.
