Can’t make it to Oklahoma softball this weekend in Norman? Welcome back the second chance for Sooner fans to experience the action in a different way.

Home Run Village is returning for the regional, beginning Friday afternoon at Marita Hynes Field. Home Run Village is sponsored by the People of Oklahoma Oil and Natural Gas and is back for the third year in a row.

A limited number of tickets went on sale Tuesday morning for the Oklahoma regional, but they didn’t last long. The Sooners, 51-1 overall, are the No. 1 seed in the postseason. OU begins the tournament vs. Hofstra at 4 p.m. Friday. Missouri and California will play following the first game. It’s a double-elimination format that will conclude Sunday afternoon.

Tickets went on sale to the general public at 10 a.m., but by 10:08 it was already announced all the tickets had been sold.

Home Run Village gives fans a free option to experience a part of the atmosphere at the OU Softball Complex.
