The win makes OU 22-6 and 10-5 on the season. The Sooners currently sit in a three-way tie for fifth in the SEC with No. 20 Alabama and Ole Miss. Oklahoma can secure the fifth seed in the SEC Tournament with a win on Sunday over the Crimson Tide. A win on Sunday would also likely secure a top-16 seed in the NCAA Tournament, meaning the Sooners would host a regional. Oklahoma is currently ranked 13th as of Thursday evening.
OU and Alabama will tipoff on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Lloyd Noble Center. It will be broadcast on SEC Network-plus.
