OU kickoff times announced for Texas, Michigan games

SANDESTIN, Florida — Kickoff times for four of OU’s games next season have officially been announced.
The SEC released the start times for each school’s first three games on Thursday during the final day of spring meetings in Destin. And the Sooners got some favorable times for their non-conference slate, as well as the Red River Rivalry at the Cotton Bowl.
Here are the times for Oklahoma’s first three games of the 2025 season, plus the Texas game in Dallas. All times are central.

Most notably, OU got a night kickoff for the Michigan game, with the expectation that ESPN’s College GameDay will be in Norman. The GameDay crew visited Oklahoma’s campus last season when Tennessee came to town in Week 4.
The Sooners will also play the Longhorns at 2:30 for the second consecutive season. Since the two premier college football programs joined the league, playing the game at 2:30 has become an emphasis for the conference. The SEC wants that to be an annual marquee game. Before joining the league, it was rare for the game not to be played at 11 a.m.
The SEC will announce kickoff time windows later this summer.
