OU landed its eighth commitment of June on Monday morning in linebacker Beau Jandreau from Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona.

Jandreau is rated as a three-star prospect. He’s ranked as the 82nd best linebacker in the 2026 class and the 12th best prospect in Arizona, according to On3’s Industry Rankings. Jandreau chose the Sooners over Texas, Oregon and USC. He is also the twin brother of OU safety commit Niko Jandreau, who committed on May 13.

He is fresh off a visit to Norman, joining several other high-profile recruits for the ChampUBBQ. He recently also visited Texas and Oregon. His primary recruiter was new linebackers coach Nate Dreiling, who earned his biggest win on the trail as a Sooner with Jandreau’s pledge. He is the second linebacker to commit in the 2026 class, joining four-star Jakore Smith from Bryant High School in Arkansas. Smith committed on May 15.

Jandreau’s commitment comes just a few days after four-star quarterback Bowe Bentley announced his pledge on June 20. It also comes on the same day as four-star defensive Daniel Norman’s commitment on Monday evening. Oklahoma now has the 21st-ranked class in 2026 with 13 commits, according to On3’s Team Rankings.
