Raegan Beers had her best game as a Sooner in her second game back in the lineup after battling injury and illness. Beers led No. 16 OU with 30 points and 14 rebounds in a 101-81 win over Vanderbilt.

The Sooners improved to 20-6 and 8-5 (SEC) on the season. The win on Thursday night at the Lloyd Noble Center was largely thanks to a 19-0 that started in the third quarter and ended in the fourth. OU only led 43-37 at halftime, but outscored Vanderbilt 34-17 in the third quarter to take a commanding 23-point lead into the fourth quarter.

Beers was Oklahoma’s main source of offense most of the evening, but OU had several contributors reach double digits. Skylar Vann scored 13, while Payton Verhulst and Zya Vann each totaled 16 points. For Vanderbilt, star freshman Mikayla Blakes scored a game-high 34 points, including seven 3-pointers.

As a team, the Sooners shot 52% to Vanderbilt’s 35%. OU also dominated the boards, outrebounding Vanderbilt 54-29. Oklahoma also made 12 3-pointers, shooting 40% from beyond the arc.

OU will return to action on Sunday, traveling to Arkansas. That game will tipoff at 2 p.m. CT on SEC Network-plus.
