*Center Joshua Bates apologizes, trying to earn trust back. Bates knows that was one boneheaded decision against Houston. Apologizing to coaches, teammates and hoping to move on. (Przybylo)

*Defense has improved, but it took time. Look, the 2024 defense didn’t happen overnight. There were growing pains. It’s a process, and you don’t get the luxury of skipping any steps. (Przybylo)
