SoonerScoop podcast: Calm before the OU spring storm
We’re officially biding time until the start of OU spring football. Might have another month or so until Brent Venables and crew get back to work.
But the Unofficial 40 podcast from SoonerScoop marches on. The five-man crew (Josh McCuistion, Carey Murdock, Bob Przybylo, Eddie Radosevich, George Stoia) are back to talk OU and all the other good stuff.
College football chaos
Really no other way to describe it. There isn’t too much happening in Norman, but every day it feels like something nuts is occurring in the college football world.
From Ohio State to UCLA to whatever is going on with Tennessee, it’s just curious to watch it all unfold. The NIL game is ever-evolving, and we’ll see how OU continues to adapt to it.
Getting closer and closer to Team 130 happenings.
Time to respond (again) for OU basketball
It’s not panic time, obviously, but a rough outing for OU basketball at Baylor. So wipe that one away from the memory banks and press on.
The Sooners aren’t a top-10 team this season. That’s fine. They just need to look like a team that belongs in the tournament in the next few weeks. They’ve put in the work for three months, close it out.

The pressing questions will be about the knee of John Hugley and the left ankle of Rivaldo Soares. OU cannot afford to miss either one of those guys the rest of the way.

Conversely, there’s nothing wrong with OU softball. A 4-0 first weekend has set the tone and sent a message to the rest of the country.

The winning streak is at 57 games. Is there an end in sight?
All that and a whole lot more, including McCuistion breaking down some recruiting tidbits during the dead period and Radosevich fired up for the baseball opener this weekend. Oh, and Stoia is a hero, stay for that story.
