Questions galore for OU and Missouri as the former Big 8/Big 12 rivals reunite in the SEC on Saturday night.

Between uneven play for both teams and a rash of injuries, it’s going to be a very interesting weekend in Columbia. It is OU’s first trip to Mizzou since 2010.

A lot to play for, let’s get to it. Time for the Unofficial 40 podcast from SoonerScoop as OU looks to get magic win No. 6 and earn the right to go bowling.

Just how big is this?

After all the changes OU has made, it has felt like a different team in the last couple of weeks. But now, can it look like a good team?

Head coach Brent Venables wasn’t afraid to make the move that had to be made. The team has responded in a huge way. As Venables loves to say, now he wants to see them rewarded for their hard work.

Quarterback Jackson Arnold has been a different guy since returning as the starter. The confidence is about as high as it has been since August.

But, still, there are those injuries. From wide receiver to offensive line, they simply won’t go away. However, Missouri has its own big-time injury with quarterback Brady Cook.

A game both programs would love to have should make for a great environment Saturday night.

OU back to OKPreps

Didn’t expect much recruiting fireworks for Maine weekend, but OU did make a noticeable offer. Let’s go back to OKPreps with Jenks (Okla.) High defensive lineman Cash Jacobsen.

Recruiting editor Josh McCuistion breaks it all down.

Plus, OU and Missouri are no strangers on the recruiting trail. What might a victory in Mizzou’s backyard mean for OU’s recruiting efforts in the Show Me State?
