And just like that, OU spring football is just about done. At least the part that really matters as OU will have one last practice Thursday before it’s Crimson Combine time Saturday.

The Sooners nearly survived the month without a massive injury but that all changed Monday with wide receiver Javonnie Gibson and his leg injury.

Head coach Brent Venables has not talked all spring, so, if nothing else, that will give some intrigue to the Combine events Saturday. To its credit, OU is trying to make it as fan-friendly as it can. The weather will also be incredible compared to what it was last weekend.

But between the portal (football/basketball), softball and baseball, a whole lot more to get into so let’s do it.
