OU head coach Porter Moser is a fan of treating every game the same. But Bedlam wins? Yea, they just mean a little bit more.

That’s three in a row now for Moser against Oklahoma State. And this was emphatic. No buzzer-beater, no overtime necessary.

The Sooners never trailed and led by as many 27 points on their way to the 80-65 victory Saturday at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma native Sam Godwin with the game of his career, 20 points and 14 rebounds. Bedlam still means something to OU, and the Bedlam trophy is staying with Godwin.

It’s time for the Sights & Sounds from SoonerScoop video editor Eddie Radosevich on a sensational night for the undefeated OU basketball squad.

Moser on the atmosphere

“Absolutely. Excited for our guys, for a lot of reasons. One, we keep trying to log in wins. I’m gonna be the biggest Oklahoma State fan now moving forward. For us, we’re getting resume wins. So I was excited for that. Excited for Sooner fans. It was great to see them come out. It was really, really good. This game is replacing that Arkansas game in Tulsa. We had to go up to Tulsa and I know that was — I thought we had a great turnout. I was at a function for the Abbott House on Thursday night, and a couple people came up to me, and they were good hearted, but they were like, ‘You better win Saturday.’ OK. I’m at a charity function.

“So it means a lot to the fanbase to win this game. With us leaving to go to the SEC, it doesn’t mean rivalries have to die. I thought their fanbase was good, too. I thought both fanbases were great. The arena, the venue, everything was at a high level. Both fanbases came out. I thought it was great for the rivalry.”
