OU has landed another offensive lineman in the transfer portal, USC offensive tackle Michael Tarquin, sources have confirmed to SoonerScoop.com.

Tarquin is a two-time transfer, starting his career at Florida. He made 20 starts for the Gators — 10 at left tackle and 10 at left guard. He transferred to USC for the 2023 season, making eight starts at left tackle for the Trojans. At 6-foot-5, 300 pounds Tarquin was one of the most coveted offensive linemen in the transfer portal due to his size and experience.

And Oklahoma needs all the help it can get on the offensive line, after losing four players to the portal and five to the NFL Draft this offseason. Cayden Green, Savion Byrd, Aaryn Parks and Nate Anderson have all transferred. And Tyler Guyton, Walter Rouse, Andrew Raym, McKade Mettauer and Caleb Shaffer are all chasing their dream of playing professional football.

But the Sooners have done well in the portal to replace them. Tarquin is the fourth offensive lineman to commit to the Sooners, joining Michigan State’s Spencer Brown and North Texas’ Febechi Nwaiwu. And OU doesn’t appear to be done yet on the offensive line, as the Sooners are also set to host LSU offensive tackle Zalance Heard on Sunday.

Here are the 10 players OU has landed in the transfer portal:

  • K Tyler Keltner (Florida State)
  • CB Jocelyn Malaska (Utah)
  • WR Deion Burks (Purdue)
  • OT Spencer Brown (Michigan State)
  • TE Bauer Sharp (Southeastern Louisiana)
  • OL Febechi Nwaiwu (North texas)
  • RB Sam Franklin (UT Martin)
  • CB Dezjhon Malone (San Diego State)
  • OT Michael Tarquin (USC)
  • DE Caiden Woullard (Miami (Ohio))
