Who is Kevin Johns? Meet OU's interim quarterbacks coach

Eight months ago, Kevin Johns didn’t have a job in football.  The former Duke offensive coordinator was not retained with the Blue Devils after Mike Elko left for Texas A&M. That’s how he ended up at OU in March, joining his good friend and former colleague at Indiana, Seth Littrell. He joined Oklahoma’s staff as an offensive analyst working closely with Littrell and coach Brent Venables. Having been a college football coach since 1999, the 48-year-old Johns was one of the most veteran coaches on OU’s staff.
