As Oklahoma’s new defensive coordinator, Alley has officially taken the defensive reins from coach Brent Venables, Alley’s former mentor at Clemson. That doesn’t mean Venables wasn’t still giving his input throughout the game Friday, as the Sooners beat Temple 51-3.
