For now, the 2022 Sugar Bowl is still a go amid other college football bowl games being canceled due to the latest surge of COVID-19 caused by the Omicron variant.

With game week here, Ole Miss fans will start making their way to New Orleans but the Caesars Superdome wants those fans to be aware of what will be needed to gain entry to Saturday’s game against Baylor.

More than a ticket to the Sugar Bowl will be required to get inside the Superdome this weekend.

Fans who are fully vaccinated, or have received one dose, must show proof. A vaccination card — with a visible front and back of the card — can be shown at the gate and will be enough to get inside.

Any fans who are not vaccinated must show proof of a negative PCR or antigen test. The test must have been administered within 72 hours of the game.

For fans who are en route to New Orleans when reading this, or already there, can visit ready.nola.gov or click here to find testing sites in and around the city.

Ole Miss (10-2) and Baylor (11-2) are set to kick off the Sugar Bowl at approximately 7:45 p.m. CT on New Year’s Day.
