Daytime Fireworks: Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss aiming for third straight Egg Bowl win
Ole Miss on Saturday was unable to slow down an Arkansas offense rejuvenated by the return of quarterback KJ Jefferson.
Now the Rebels are having to do some soul-searching on a short week and with in-state rival Mississippi State heading to town for the annual Egg Bowl Thanksgiving night.
Lane Kiffin is aiming to lead Ole Miss to its third straight win in the all-time series. The Rebels are also looking to boost their postseason resume with bowl season on deck.
Ole Miss rolled to 700 yards of offense in a losing effort. The Rebels had two rushers (Zach Evans and Quinshon Judkins) go over 200 yards. Actually, Judkins set the single-season Ole Miss record for rushing yards.
