Ole Miss women’s basketball will appear on national television 11 times in 2024-25, including eight of the Rebels’ SEC games.

The SEC made the announcement Thursday.

Ole Miss opens against USC in Paris, France, as part of the 2024 Aflac Oui-Play on November 4. Tipoff on ESPN is 11 a.m. CT. The Rebels’ trip to NC State for the SEC/ACC Challenge on December 5 is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT on ESPN2.

Their first national game in SEC play is against Florida in Oxford January 16. SEC Network has the game — which is set for an 8 p.m. CT tip. Ole Miss travels to in-state rival Mississippi State January 19 at 2:00 p.m. CT on SEC Network. SEC newcomer Texas comes to the SJB Pavilion January 26 at 3 p.m..

It’ll be the first-ever conference meeting between the Rebels and Longhorns. ESPN or ESPN2 will carry the first-of-its-kind matchup.

“Just learning everybody on the team, my new teammates” veteran guard KK Deans said, when asked recently what she hopes to learn about these Rebels over the course of already-ongoing preseason practices.

Deans and Tameiya Sadler will represent Ole Miss at SEC Tipoff ’25 October 18.

Ole Miss returns eight players from last year’s NCAA Tournament team. Seventh-year Ole Miss head coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin also brought in four international freshmen and three transfers from the portal, among them Sadler.

Deans continued, “Just building that camaraderie that we need for the season. Learning adversity and how we deal with it. How we can feed off each other.”

Ole Miss and Kentucky on February 10 is to be carried on ESPN2 at 6 p.m. CT. The Rebels have a road trip to Tennessee on the docket for February 16 at 11 a.m. CT on SEC Network.

Ole Miss closes out the regular season at LSU March 2 at 3 p.m. CT on SEC Network.

The Rebels are offering free admission to their lone exhibition game — against Christian Brothers on October 28.

“They’re just great people,” McPhee-McCuin said of her latest batch of Rebels. “They’re very competitive and like to have fun, which has been consistent in the type of people we’ve brought in.

“They have big goals. They teach me something new every day. What I hope to figure out before we get on that flight to Paris is a rotation of maybe nine or 10 players that we can depend on. Put them through a little bit of adversity so they can see how we would respond to it. Just kind of see who naturally will want to lead and the roles they will want.

“I don’t give out roles early in the season. I let them decide or give them the opportunity to show me what they think their role should be. I’m excited to see the personalities and their goals and what their intent is on a daily basis.”
