In 1999, two players signed with Ole Miss and both, in their own ways, made Ole Miss history. All-American Quarterback Eli Manning, who is having his jersey retired Saturday, and All-SEC Defensive Tackle/NG Jesse Mitchell, who to this day stays in touch with Manning.
