Friday Availability Report: Ole Miss to be without Jayden Williams for Oklahoma
The Friday night availability report provided some good news for the Ole Miss defense and some bad news for the offense ahead of its matchup with Oklahoma on Saturday.
After being listed as questionable the first two reports of the week, offensive lineman Jayden Williams is now officially listed as out in Friday’s report.
That is a blow to the depth of a position room that head coach Lane Kiffin said saw “some shuffling” this week after the bye wee and disappointing performances the first three SEC games.
Another player in that room is still listed as questionable is Jeremy James. Though in an updated by the Spirit’s Chuck Rounsaville on Friday did not give much optimism he will be able to give a go against the Sooners, either.
This news will either not cause much of that shuffling after all or a different look from the those who have been playing on the front lines of the offense.

The Ole Miss running backs room will still be down to Henry Parrish, Jr. and Ulysses Bentley IV this weekend as Matt Jones was ruled as out in Friday’s report. Logan Diggs, who has not played all season, is also out as his rehab from ACL less than a year ago is still underway.
The nation’s best receiver is also listed as questionable for the Rebels as Tre Harris still on the bad side of that designation, according to the Spirit’s Ben Garrett. This would cause the wide receivers room to have to find a way to get the rest of the players going beyond sophomore Cayden Lee.
New father Jordan Watkins and Juice Wells will get their opportunities against the Sooners if Harris is not able to play.
Speaking of receivers Oklahoma will be down five of theirs, including their best in Deion Burks who was listed as out. Burks has not played since the Tennessee game on September 21.
