Full schedule released for Ole Miss and rest of College World Series field
For the second time in eight years Ole Miss baseball is back in Omaha and the College World Series. The Rebels know they play on Saturday at 6 p.m. CT but now the entire eight-team field knows the entire 11-day journey to crown a national champion.
The NCAA announced the full College World Series schedule on Tuesday once Standford and Auburn punched the final two tickets to Omaha on Monday night.
Ole Miss (37-22) will play Auburn (42-20) in the opening round of Bracket 2 on Saturday. It will be the fourth time this season the Rebels and Tigers have met. Ole Miss took the opening SEC series 2-1 in March.
The winner between Ole Miss and Auburn will play the winner of Arkansas (43-19) and Stanford (47-16) on Monday at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN. The losers of those two first round games will meet on Monday at 1 p.m. CT on ESPN in the first elimination game of the bracket.
A second elimination game will be played on June 21 between the loser of the winner’s bracket game and the winner of the first elimination game at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN.

Whichever team starts out Bracket 2 with a 2-0 record gets to wait until June 22 to play the first championship game of the bracket at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN.
A winner-take-all game in Bracket 2, if necessary, would be played on June 23 at a time to be determined later.
The best-of-3 championship series to determine the 2022 National Champion will begin on June 25 and will run through June 27 if a Game3 3 is necessary. All games in the championship series will be on ESPN.
It has been a relatively stress free couple days for Ole Miss after sweeping Southern Miss by a combined score of 15-0 on Saturday and Sunday. Practice resumed on Monday for the Rebels.
