Hit That Line: Groundhog Day … again … for Ole Miss football
Another game week, another simple task for No. 19 Ole Miss football.
Survive and advance.
The Rebels (6-2, 2-2) are off to Arkansas (5-3, 3-2) for a Saturday showdown at 11 a.m. CT. Ole Miss is 2-13 all-time in Fayetteville.
“We’ve had a lot of really tough matchups over time against them, previous to me and since we’ve been here,” fifth-year Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin said. “We have to have a really good week of practice (and) do a really good job in all areas, especially with what looks like might be rainy weather on the road.
“This is going to be a really good challenge for us. One we’re excited about.”

“They’re a great football team,” Ole Miss defensive tackle and team leader JJ Pegues said of the Razorbacks. “They’ve got a lot of talent on the front line and a great quarterback and good receivers. We control what we can control. I feel like our week of preparation will be a great one. I’m excited to go over there and play them.”
“Really good team,” Ole Miss tight end Dae’Quan Wright said. “Great defense. We just have to be the more physical group on the field.”
