Inside Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart’s new ‘Beats’ NIL deal with On3’s Pete Nakos
Jaxson Dart landed another lucrative NIL deal this week.
Dart, the third-year starter for Ole Miss at quarterback, signed on with the ‘Beats Elite’ campaign. He was one of 11 college football players to do so.
Dart was joined by Carson Beck (QB, Georgia), Johntay Cook, II (WR, Texas), Caleb Downs (S, Ohio State), Dillon Gabriel (QB, Oregon), Nico Iamaleava (QB, Tennessee), Will Johnson (DB, Michigan), Jalen Milroe (QB, Alabama), Shedeur Sanders (QB, Colorado), Malaki Starks (DB, Georgia) and DJ Uiagalelei (QB, Florida State).
‘Beats’ teamed with Learfield to secure intellectual property rights to allow university branding (logos, mascots, etc.) on headphones and speaker designs.
“Beats comes back again, right? They had 15 players last year (and) 11 this year,” On3 NIL expert and national analyst Pete Nakos said.
“Jaxson Dart joins Shedeur Sanders and Johntay Cook, the Texas wide receiver with over 300,000 social media followers. Jalen Milroe, Caleb Downs, Riley Leonard. They’re all wearing team-branded headphones and their team-branded apparel.

“That all happened through Beats, who made a deal with Learfield. Obviously one of the more lucrative NIL campaigns of this preseason and heading into the fall. Jaxson Dart continues to rack up some big-time deals.”
Beats will feature its athletes across various marketing campaigns during the 2024-25 season, including custom products.
Nakos went further in-depth on the partnership in an all-new episode of the Ole Miss Spirit’s ‘Flagship’ podcast, powered by Homefield Apparel. Milroe and Uiagalelei have already gifted Beats to their teammates.
Expect Dart to do the same.
“That’s something everyone will do,” Nakos said. “Maybe it’ll be before a big game this season or right before Week 1, but that’ll be in the mix for everyone. If we’ve got any Ole Miss players on here, I think you’ll have a nice pair of new Beats headphones coming your way shortly.”
