Brad's Bold (Ole Miss) Predictions: Could Jaxson Dart end up with comparable numbers to Matt Corral?
Bradley Sowell has returned from sick leave for the latest edition of Talk of Champions, in association with the Ole Miss Spirit.
And not a moment too soon.
The 2022 Ole Miss football season is nearly upon us, with the Rebels set to host Troy Saturday at 3 p.m. CT to kick things off.
Brad’s got some bold predictions, including what would surely be a welcome quarterback development for now-third-year head coach Lane Kiffin and Co. in their quest to better the 10-3 season from a year ago.
Ole Miss still hasn’t decided between Jaxson Dart and Luke Altmyer, by the way.
“We’re not holding anything back. They’re both even,” Kiffin said on the SEC Coaches Teleconference on Wednesday.

“We’re gonna obviously let Lane and them figure out that side of the ball out,” Ole Miss running back Zach Evans said of the competition between Dart and Altmyer. “But other than that, running backs just worry about running backs. You gotta mow your own grass, stay in your own lane, keep pushing, stacking your days.”
Plus, Ben and Brad deep-dive into the Ole Miss results of NFL cut day.
Among them is the cautionary tale of former five-star Rebel running back Jerrion Ealy, who failed to make the 53-man roster of the Kansas City Chiefs.
