Murrell on how he’s feeling: “No, I mean I’m in the training room every day just trying to get as healthy as I can so I am able to go out there and then affect the winning the best way. Lower body injury, just trying our best to keep it under control.”
Jaylen Murray on his big points in the 2nd half: “First, I want to acknowledge my man Matt, he’s been going through a lot these past couple of weeks, just trying to just get his body right. In all reality man, it was Matt tonight man. I was finding him. He was hitting big-time shots and that’s what we was going with.”

On Ole Miss’ impressive assist-to-turnover ratio: “We got a team full of veterans. We challenge ourselves most percent of the time with the games just letting us know that not trying to turn the ball over too much, we make the right pass, make the right reads, we can always finish the game with five or less turnovers, eight or less turnovers. We got a veteran team though and we’ve been buying into it since the season started after we’ve been going through all the no games and stuff like that and practices to see what kind of talent we got around us. Just been buying in.”
Murrell on seeing the team come together for this win: “I Feel like togetherness. JuJu, ten assists, Sean, eight assists. Point guard play, just sharing the ball. I feel like that was a big thing. Came in the game, we had one mind to stay together no matter what happened. Play with joy and just like I said, no matter what happened to make sure we staying together and that’s all we got at the end of day is each other.”
Murrell on Ole Miss 24:1 assist-to-turnover ratio: “This is my first game, but just credit to all of us, you know, just going out there and take care of the ball, movement, moving it, and players being players and making shots.”
