“Wide receiver’s always one for Kiffin,” Berry said, when going through portal positions of need. “It has to be offensive line. You look at how much went into defensive line last cycle; there was a big turnover in that room. It’s paid off.

“You’re probably going to look for some interior guys. Probably a tackle you try to really pay. I think running back’s solid. Logan Diggs, I still think he’s going to try to give a go this season. We were told October. I don’t think he’ll play this weekend, but maybe Arkansas or Florida. You get Shekai Mills-Knight to sign in 2025. I think he’s a legitimate impact player. He’ll get touches next year.

“Kiffin’s probably going to look for somebody. What’s (Henry) Parrish going to do? You’re going to look for another guy to build that depth. But trenches are first and foremost.”

“This is a really big game for us,” fifth-year Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin said on Monday. He was holding his weekly press conference. “Big matchup to have Oklahoma coming here. Playing great defense (and) just changed their offensive staff. Looks like they changed their quarterback. Sounds like getting some receivers healthy.

“This is a big challenge for us. Excited to be back in front of our home crowd and get back on track.”
