Ole Miss’ most recent football weekend couldn’t have gone much better, both on the field and along the recruiting trail.
The Rebels are 5-0 (1-0 SEC) following their 22-19 win over then-No. 7 Kentucky. They’re also now universally ranked in the Top 10, and they’ll go for win No. 18 in their last 21 when they travel to Vanderbilt (3-2, 0-1) on Saturday.
“New name for Ole Miss is ‘Drip U’,” Rebel commit Jayvontay Conner told the Ole Miss Spirit’s Zach Berry on Sunday.
“The game was a very well-played game on both sides of the ball. My guy Quinshon (Judkins) went off; I’m very proud of him. Jaxson (Dart) and the rest of the offense played really, really good. Defense played lights out.”
But today on Talk of Champions, we’re talking exclusively about the Rebels continuing to build on their already-star-studded 2023 recruiting class, boosted by the recent commitment of four-star cornerback Braxton Myers.

“The atmosphere was outstanding,” Myers, who was in the stands for Kentucky, said. “The Vaught was definitely a part of the win, and the new helmets by Realtree were icy.”
Who could be next?
Ben Garrett and Zach Berry, who both cover Rebel recruiting for the Spirit/On3, have a couple of candidates, among them four-star safety Marvin Burks.
Let’s get after it.
