LOOK: Ole Miss football once again hosted a big group last weekend. Here's what it looked like

Last weekend, Ole Miss and Lane Kiffin played host to a big group of 2023, 2024 and 2025 prospects for an invite only junior day in Oxford, Miss. Several recruits were in attendance to tour the campus, meet the staff, check out the progress being made on the facility upgrades and of course, do a uniform photoshoot.

OMSpirit compiled all the behind the scenes moments from last weekend with all the top-notch talent in town who took part in the uniform fun and more.

2024 Episcopal (Tex.) long snapper Morrow Evans was in town over the weekend. Per his Twitter profile, he is the No. 1 sophomore long snapper in the country.

Oak Grove (La.) athlete and Oklahoma State commit Kam Franklin was in town. He spoke with OMSpirit’s Ben Garrett about the trip.

“This was my first time ever being to Ole Miss, but it definitely won’t be the last.”

2025 Lipscomb Academy (Tenn.) interior offensive lineman Amir Leonard-Jean Charles was in town with a large group from Middle Tennessee. Ole Miss offensive line coach Jake Thornton has extended an offer and Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, TCU and Texas are also showing interest in the freshman.

Another freshman who was in town, 2025 Highland Home (Ala.) linebacker Jakaleb Faulk received an offer during his visit.

His 2024 teammate, Brice McKenzie was also on an unofficial visit.

2024 Collierville (Tenn.) tight end Eli Sisson was in town. The Tennessee Class 6A First Team All-Region selection holds an early offer from Austin Peay.

Another 2025 prospect from Highland Home (Ala.) made the trip across state lines. The two-sport prospect is a standout guard on the hardwood.

The 2025 Riverdale (Tenn.) linebacker traveled down with other Tennessee prospects. Jomauris Smith is being recruited by Ole Miss linebackers coach Maurice Crum.

2025 Rockvale (Tenn.) athlete Jaylan Morgan was yet another Volunteer State prospect in town. Vanderbilt is also showing interest.

And the winner for best name is…

2024 Winterboro (Ala.) linebacker Stank Truss holds an early offer from Jacksonville State and is hearing from Auburn, Georgia and Texas A&M as well.

2024 Pike Road (Ala.) running back was in town, checking out spring practice and watching his former teammate and 2022 signee, Quinshon Judkins, in action.

Mansfield (Tex.) cornerback Brian Hollins made the long journey to Oxford, Miss., last weekend. He talked with Garrett afterwards about the trip.

“The visit was great,” he said. “We got a campus tour, facility tour, ate, photoshoot, watched practice and hung out with the players. Ole Miss stands out because of the culture. It’s also an SEC school, and the coaches are so down to earth.”

Cedar Grove (Ga.) EDGE Adonijah Green was back in Oxford for the third time this fall. The Louisville commit seems to be really be feeling the love from Ole Miss and things could be getting interesting soon. He talked Garrett about the vibe prior to leaving town.

“The visit was good,” Green said. “We toured the campus, took pictures and spent time with the coaches. I like (Ole Miss defensive line) coach (Randall) Joyner’s coaching style and how he can translate what he teaches to the field. Ole Miss has really made a good impression and given me something to think about.”

Eagle’s Landing Christian (Ga.) IOL DJ Chester was in Oxford over the weekend, hanging out with primary recruiter, Dane Stevens. Miami, Auburn, South Carolina and LSU have also offered the 6-foot-5, 295 pound prospect.
