LOOK: Ole Miss might be developing a late-season taste for come-from-behind wins
The defending-champion Ole Miss baseball team has recently developed a taste for late-inning dramatics.
The Rebels on Tuesday averted late-season disaster with a 12-10 win (BOX SCORE) over a capable, and game, Arkansas-Little Rock. It was their second come-from-behind win in as many days. They walked-off Georgia two days ago for their first SEC series win of the year.
The Rebels were holding their annual Kids Day game and battled back from a 7-2 deficit. They combined to score nine runs over the last five innings, including a four-run bottom of the fourth and a three-run, deciding bottom of the eighth.
Three Rebels (Jacob Gonzalez, Calvin Harris and TJ McCants) had at least two hits. Freshman designated hitter John Kramer led Ole Miss with three RBI and accounted for one of four Ole Miss home runs on the day.

Ole Miss took and maintained its first and only lead of the game in the eighth.
Wwo-hole hitter Ethan Lege chopped a single over the head of UALR third baseman Nico Baumbach to advance Jacob Gonzalez to third. Gonzalez came in to score on an errant throw in to from left fielder Luke Pectol that sailed into shallow right. Pectol was charged with an error.
Hits by Gonzalez, Lege and Harris eventually gave way to three runs and the lead. Ole Miss entered the frame down 10-9.
With the win, the Rebels improved to 24-21 (5-16 SEC) overall. UALR fell to 25-17 (10-5 OVC). Ole Miss entered play tied with Missouri in the SEC standings and will visit the Tigers for a three-game series this weekend. Mississippi State sits just a game in front of both Ole Miss and Missouri in the pursuit of a bid to the SEC Tournament in Hoover, Alabama, May 23-28.
The Bulldogs (24-20, 6-15) also hold the tiebreaker.
