LOOK: Ole Miss signee Jeremiah Dillon sets indoor record in 60-meter dash
Tylertown (Miss.) wide receiver Jeremiah Dillon was signed by Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin for myriad reasons, but his game-breaking speed could make the case for the main one.
The On3 consensus four-star from Mississippi competed in the Fastrak High School Indoor Challenge in Houston, Texas, over the weekend in the 60-meter and 200-meter dash. Dillon took home the title in the first event, setting a personal record with a time of 6.93 seconds. That time is also good enough for fifth all-time in Mississippi indoor track history.

Dillon is also incredibly fast in outdoor events, running sub-11.00 seconds in the 100-meter dash, including a 10.53 PR. He also posted a 21.45 200-meter dash time. The Ole Miss signee placed second at the Mississippi Class 3A state meet in the 100 meters (10.66) and the 200 meters (21.57) last spring.
The future Ole Miss receiver will report to Oxford after he concludes his track season and graduates in the spring. He will be on the of many that receivers coach Derrick Nix will be looking to in order to replace the production of now-departed pass-catchers Dontario Drummond, Jahcour Pearson and Braylon Sanders.
