LOOK: Ole Miss softball opens new stadium with shutout over McNeese State

After spending nearly the first month of the season on the road the Ole Miss softball team finally broke the seal on it’s completed new stadium with a 4-0 victory over McNeese State on Wednesday.
The Rebels (13-3) picked up their eighth straight win off Aliyah Binford’s two-run home run in the first inning, her first of the season, and a RBI double by Taylor Roman in the fourth. Roman scored off a fielder’s choice later that inning.
Pitcher Miali Guachino picked up her seventh win of the season by giving The Rebels a complete-game effort. McNeese State got five hits off Guachino but she struck out 10 and walked another hitter.
