LOOK: Wade’s career day and other must-see snaps from Ole Miss’ win over Vanderbilt

No. 11 Ole Miss on Saturday used a dominant first half to race past Vanderbilt on Homecoming, 33-7. The Rebels are now 7-1 for the second straight season. They were last 7-1 in back-to-back seasons in 1961 and 1962.
Ole Miss is also 4-1 in SEC games, 19-2 in its last 21 home games and has won 24 of its last 27 Homecoming matchups. Lane Kiffin, in his fourth Rebel season, became the second-fastest Ole Miss head coach to 30 wins in program history.

“Neat to see our players come out and play with really good energy in all phases early,” Kiffin said afterwards. “These are sometimes flat games, trap games, whatever you want to call them, against an opponent that has not had a lot of success as of late. Proud of that.
“Really proud of our defense for the most part all day. Thought the offense was good early and then stalled and unfortunately didn’t do a really good job in the pass game on third down. Ran it really well. Just wish we would’ve been a little cleaner in the passing game and with protection.”
