Memphis 4-star athlete Kumaro Brown adds Ole Miss offer during Thursday visit
On Thursday Ole Miss cornerbacks coach Sam Carter extended an offer to Memphis Academy of Health Sciences (Tenn.) athlete Kumaro Brown during his weekday visit.
The 6-foot, 178-pound prospect has early offers from Campbell, Florida State, Tennessee and Memphis. He has already taken an unofficial visit to Tallahassee last weekend and has now made the quick drive down to Oxford to check out campus, watch spring practice and to meet with Lane Kiffin and staff.
The 10th-ranked athlete in the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies is also ranked 153rd overall and 4th in Tennessee. As a sophomore, Brown was a key cog for an 11-2 squad that made it all the way to the Tennessee Class 2A quarterfinals.
The Rebels now hold a commanding lead in the four-star prospect’s On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) at 79.3%. Memphis and Tennessee are in second and third respectively at 6.3% and 5.4%.

RPM was released to the public in December 2021. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.
It factors in machine learning, expert predictions, social sentiment, visits, and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.
Brown has an On3 NIL Valuation of $11.7k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date; it rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
