#notcommitted: Former Rebel Walker Jones is leading the Grove Collective now. He has big plans.
The Grove Collective has scheduled an announcement press conference regarding its official, public relaunch for Friday afternoon.
Now leading the charge is former Ole Miss Rebel Walker Jones.
“My whole career has been trying to find short-term challenges that yielded long-term opportunities,” Jones said. “The more I analyzed this, researched it, the more I realized there was a great opportunity here to figure something out and take a very undefined, complex topic like NIL and to create a best-in-class model that could support our university.”

Ole Miss has already emerged as a leading transfer destination for players.
Previous NIL efforts are a big reason why.
But Jones and the Grove Collective are readying themselves to supercharge the approach.
“From the people I talked to, they just said, ‘Look, NIL’s incredibly important. It’s not going to go away. It’ll adjust, it’ll evolve (and) it’ll get regulated to some degree, but it’s not going to go away and we’ve got to figure it out,’” Jones said.
“It’s a way for me to get back involved with the university. I do have a little bit of bandwidth professionally with some of my other responsibilities, so I had some time to commit to it on the side. I saw it as a challenge but an opportunity to get back helping the school that I love and the school that gave me so much.”
Jones spills the details (as well as his score prediction for Kentucky) to Zach Berry in an all-new edition of #notcommitted, in association with the Ole Miss Spirit/On3.
