The 2024 regular season of college football just wrapped up and while Ole Miss has three weeks before it plays in the Gator Bowl it will know what next year’s schedule will be.

On Wednesday the Southeastern Conference announced the 2025 football schedules for all 16 teams. The only real news was what week will each of the 12 games be for the Rebels.

Opponents were already known as the SEC announced earlier this year that every team will keep its eight conference opponents of 2024 for next year, flipping the home and away games.

This means Ole Miss will host Arkansas, Florida, LSU and South Carolina while traveling to Georgia, Kentucky, Oklahoma and Mississippi State.

The Rebels will kick off SEC play earlier next year and will not be waiting until the fifth week of the season. They the road in week two at Kentucky on September 6, a game that has some extra meaning now.

Home SEC games will be on September 13 (Arkansas), September 27 (LSU),

Remaining SEC road matchups will take place on October 18 at Georgia, October 25 at Oklahoma and at Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl to end the season. The game was included on November 29 but that game will probably get moved as it always does.

Earlier this season Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin and athletic director Keith Carter had to work to fill a vacant non-conference slot after Wake Forest backed out of its return game in Oxford next season. The spot was filled by Washington State who will play the Rebels on October 11 in Oxford.

The other three non-conference games are against Georgia State (August 30) in the season opener, Tulane (September 20) and The Citadel (November 8). All four non-conference games will be played in Oxford.

Ole Miss will have open dates on October 4 and November 22. The Rebels will not leave the state of Mississippi in November.
