Ole Miss at Mississippi State: How to watch, live stream, start time, TV channel
Egg Bowl week is upon us and Thanksgiving night is fast approaching, meaning Ole Miss and Mississippi State are set to add another chapter into one of college football’s oldest and longest rivalries.
When the Rebels and Bulldogs meet all records and stats are thrown out the window in the battle for the ‘Golden Egg.’ But No. 12 Ole Miss has another shot at history with a second 10-win regular season in the last three seasons and the program’s first 11-win season still well in reach.
For Mississippi State it is a program that is trying to earn its way into a bowl game and not rely on its APR or other teams to fail to reach the six-win threshold that earns bowl eligibility.
While this could be the last time the Egg Bowl is fought over on Thanksgiving night, if rumors of Texas and Texas A&M moving into the slot have any credence, then it could be another memorable night in Starkville.
Both quarterbacks, Ole Miss’ Jaxson Dart and Mississippi State’s Will Rogers, enter the regular season finale banged up but both will be on the field despite what reports emerge through the media sources. Rogers noted earlier this year he would play in this game even if his “arm fell off” and Dart has been reliving the ending of last year’s Egg Bowl on loop in his head for 365 days.
