2026 infielder William Cutshall adds to already stellar Ole Miss class
2026 Seneca (S.C.) infielder William Cutshall committed to Ole Miss two weeks ago. Perfect Game scouts are big fans of the newest Rebel commit and his size.
“Recorded a 6.78 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop with a physically advanced and athletic build. Moves well laterally with clear athleticism in the infield. Longer arm action and has big arm strength, recording throws up to 91 mph across the infield,” PG scout said. “Also worked out in the outfield and showed same big arm and carry, recording throws up to 93 mph from the outfield. Right-handed hitter and starts from a wide and even base.
“Uses a big leg lift into launch and swings with lots of intent. Standout bat speed and strength to the hands and ball jumps coming off. Worked the whole field and has present juice,” PG scout said. “Secondary right-handed pitcher and employs an easy, low effort delivery. Clean arm action and fastball topped at 88 mph from 3/4 slot. Gets occasional cutting action that was effective.

“Showed shorter breaking ball and has considerable upside on mound as well. Excellent student,” PG socut said. “Named to the 2023 National Underclass Showcase- Main Event Top Prospect List.”

He is a Top 5 prospect in the class, joining Top 100 prospect Christian Doty from Lausanne Collegiate (Tenn.), Magnolia Heights (Miss.) infielder Cole Prosek, Chaparral (Ariz.) right-handed pitcher Devin Long and Sumner (Fla.) RHP/outfielder Winston Pennant.
