The Ole Miss baseball won its first national championship in program history in June after sweeping Oklahoma in the Men’s College World Series Final.

Next month the team will continue the party they started back in the summer when they returned from Omaha.

Ole Miss announced Monday plans for a week-long celebration, honoring the team and the national championship accomplishment. It will be Nov. 9-12, circling around No. 9 Ole Miss football’s home game against No. 1 Alabama on Nov. 12.

Members of the 2022 championship team will be honored at halftime of the football game, sporting their championship rings that they will receive that week.

The team will also participate in the Walk of Champions and other fan activities.

The week of festivities will begin on Nov. 9 with a special private screening of “Belief,” a documentary film from Ole Miss Sports Production that gives an unprecedented inside look into the title run.

The private screening will take place in Oxford ahead of its release online and debut on ESPNU. Details on Oxford viewing opportunities for the general public will be announced closer to the premiere.

The week will also include a trip to Jackson where the Ole Miss baseball team will pay a visit to the state capital and take part in a luncheon at the Governor’s Mansion. The trip to Jackson also includes a stop at the Children’s of Mississippi Hospital.

For those who would like to watch the 2023 baseball team in action can do so this Saturday. Ole Miss is hosting Samford for its first of two scrimmages this fall. The game will begin at Noon CT at Oxford-University Stadium and is free to the public.

Ole Miss will host UAB on Oct. 29 for its final scrimmage before closing out fall ball with the annual Pizza Bowl on Nov. 11 and the Omaha Challenge from Nov. 14 to the 18.
