NIL agent Chris Wash schools The Flagship on why Ole Miss is the place to be
Ole Miss basketball and head coach Chris Beard are anxious about year two. After finishing with just 20 wins in 2023-2024 after stumbling down the stretch, the Rebels are looking to rebuild the roster quickly. How do they plan on doing it? The transfer portal and NIL.
On this episode of “The Flagship”, presented by College Corner, NIL agent Chris Wash joins the show to give us a rundown on name, image and likeness and the ever-evolving transfer portal. He also discusses why he thinks Ole Miss is in a great spot heading into next season.

Chris Wash also believes the Grove Collective has empowered athletics at Ole Miss to thrive.
The NIL agent talks about his dealings with Walker Jones and the brass in Oxford. He details why the Rebels have been so successful via the transfer portal. And why he thinks it’s only the beginning for Beard and Lane Kiffin. Jones believes the program is set to take off.
“Collectives can now take an active role in recruiting and with the basketball portal recently opening this will be the first time going through that,” Jones said. “We are going to be very active in the transfer portal in men’s and women’s basketball I learned after meeting with both Chris Beard and Coach Yo.”
