Michigan center Tarris Reed Jr. hearing from Ole Miss since entering transfer portal

After letting former head coach and player Juwan Howard go, Michigan basketball has had a revolving door into the transfer portal. Earlier this week, center Tarris Reed Jr. announced he was leaving Ann Arbor. And Ole Miss has reached out, per On3’s Joe Tipton, in hopes of hosting him for an official visit soon.
The 6-foot-10, 265 pound prospect played in 32 games with 31 starts. He was fifth on the team, averaging nine points and a team-high 7.2 rebounds per game. Reed shot 52 percent from the field and was a physical force down low with great athleticism.
Reed scored in double figures 13 times this past season. Also had 15 or more points thrice. In January, he scored a career-high 20 points on 8-of-10 shooting in a loss to Illinois.
