Daytime Fireworks: Ole Miss should add second win at Auburn in last 20 years Saturday
No. 13 Ole Miss (5-1, 2-1) is coming off a bye and is potentially the healthiest it has been all year long from a transfer portal playmaker standpoint. Tre Harris, Zakhari Franklin and Caden Prieskorn are all expected to be on the field Saturday. Jordan Watkins suffered a broken hand last week in practice, but is expected to play, per Lane Kiffin.
Auburn is coming off a beatdown in Death Valley at the hands of LSU. Hugh Freeze doesn’t seem to trust either quarterback at this point, Jarquez Hunter hasn’t been able to get into rhythm and the defense is running on fumes. So, yeah, this one is a layup for the Rebels, right?
Ole Miss has only won three times at Auburn since 1999. Last win there was when Freeze was the head coach in 2015. This year feels different, though. The Rebels are starting to hit its stride and the bye week couldn’t have come at a better time.

Saturday goes Ole Miss’ way, in my opinion, if Jaxson Dart takes care of the football.
You have to win the turnover battle on the road in the SEC. And, so far this season, Dart has been great at protecting the ball. As long as this happens and the travel companions (defense and run game) thrive, I see a comfortable win for Ole Miss.
